Reagan is laying on the floor with her legs up on the wall, completely bored. She wasn't in the mood for talking since the memory of what was done to her in her own dorm door room kept her quiet.
Ryan sighs. He was hoping to get something in for class today, but didn't know anyone there and couldn't find the teacher. So instead of sitting around or wandering aimlessly, he begins doing pushups, switching arms every time he goes up.
Reagan looks over at a random guy working out in the corner. He looked like he was doing push ups off the ceiling as she looked at him upside down. She laughs.
He hears someone laughing and face plants before sitting up and looking at the girl on the wall. "What are you laughing at? Was I doing something wrong?" He looks very confused.
"Yeah, just a little hot." He says laughing. Looking around, he asks "Where's the teacher anyway? How are we supposed to learn anything?"
"Umm...no reason." She says in a rush not willing elaborate. She peaked a look out the window cautiously
He puts a hand on her shoulder. "You sure? You do seem a little on edge." He tries to sound reassuring.
He looks her in the eye. "Well, I'm new here and don't have too many friends. If you'd like someone to talk about it to, I'm always here. If not, I can understand." He always did care too much about others. Doing what he could to help them made him feel much better about himself.
She smiles lightly. "I'll be your friend. But I'll have to know you a little bit better if I'm going to tell you all my deep and darkest secrets." She smirks.
He laughs as a sweat drop rolls down the side of his face. He remembers how the other girl he met was a mermaid and wasn't sure how to return the question. "Well, I'm a human for starters."
"Oh, yeah!" He got her drift this time. "I distort gravity." He says blankly. "My grandpa wanted me to come here to stay out of trouble and become a field agent."
He thinks for a moment. He could do a few things, but he never got to experiment much with his ability, living in the city. "Well, I can move objects that are a short distance from me, I can fly, and when I change the gravitational centers of my body, I can increase my reflexes or add force which my body normally couldn't dish out. Other than that, I'm not sure what else yet. I guess that's why I'm here."
She listens and nods approvingly. "That's pretty cool. It's definitely a lot better than what I can do."
A thought comes to mind and he takes a step back, trying to hide a look of surprise, glum, and disgust. "T-that doesn't mean you're a necrophiliac, does it?"
"What!" She exclaims, "no no no." She says in a rush, her face getting hot with embarrassment. People always tended to think that.
He smirks. "That'd be a bit hypocritical of me if I were. I mean it'd be a little harder not to be if you WERE a necrophilliac, but I think we're good." He says with a laugh.
She clears her throat. "Well, being a necromancer means I can raise the dead. That can include animals and even people. Although, when I raise anything I get pretty dizzy and sometimes lose consciousness. That's why I wanted to come here to fix that. Spirit voices don't help either." She explains. She felt sort of relieved to have explained even though it wasn't that big of a deal. As long as she was talking, it kept her distracted.
"That's interesting! Are the voices the spirit's you're raising or are they just always in your head?" He asks. This girl was very interesting in her ability and he wanted to know more.
"Ah I'm sorry." He could see how randomly being bothered by a spirit would be uncomfortable or annoying.
He looks around. "Hey, you wanna get outta here and have some fun? I still don't see a teacher anywhere." He says
