Hi,

There used to be a way to add a sample of a book for readers to download.

When I first started I did this and those samples are still there. But there seems to be no way to add them now. Is this no longer being done?

Here for example, it says download excerpt.

I think that's removed because Amazon has a Look inside feature... read that somewhere (probably in the Feedback group)

The ability for authors to upload their own PDF previews has recently been discontinued. This is because other platforms handle the book preview option so well (such as Amazon's Look Inside! feature, for example) there's no need for us to duplicate it. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Ah right. I suppose that true. I just need to know how to get rid of what's there now :) Thanks for posting this.

As was mentioned, this is not a Librarians Group issue, but one for the Author Feedback Group. Or you may wish to use the Contact Us link on the Help page. Librarians can help with issues pertaining to specific book records or most related issues, but have no control over general site functionality or author issues outside of fixing book or author listings on Goodreads itself.
