So far there is only one book to go in it Christmas Hostage

Will those books have characters or settings in common? Asking because sometimes this kind of series titles are not series according to our policies, but only unrelated works except the theme.

They're a series where secondary characters from one book then get their own story, the heroines for the next two books both appear in book one, and three more future characters are mentioned
