Oooh ERRR?!! ... so I sent a few Merry Christmases out via my Goodreads Inbox and now I have a Pink Box showing up saying ..."Sorry, you have reached our maximum for messages sent per day. This is a safeguard in place to protect our members from unwanted email"
... Ooops! - I think I may have just 'broken' the Internet ... (*giggles*) ... ;o>
About 20 ... 'ish?!! ;o>After Midnight onwards and so I'm now on a Goodreads Lock-down! - LOL!!! ;o>
I'm gonna wish everyone a Happy New Year now, as I've been up for 18 hours already and know that I won't make it through to Midnight - enjoy!! :)

Happy new year folks!I'm still up, supping a nice drop of claret...enjoyed the fireworks display in London....amazing how they time & plan it, must take months to put it all together.
Lez, it's a building I spotted in Chester today, made more amusing by the fact it's a dentist's surgery.
can we not have more images of rampaging brain hungry zombies feasting on the cerebella of progressive rock musicians? not that there'd be much to chew on!
Hmmm. You do know the cerebellum controls movement, don't you? If we're looking for a group of musicians who don't move much, I think seventies west-coast laid-back snooze-merchants like The Eagles and Crosby, Stills & Nash might have been dined on already by zombies with a particular taste for cerebellums.
I love the bigger picture but I can't quite see what the smaller one is? Is that a Tree or a Fountain? ;o>
The smaller picture is a view of Shrewsbury Cathedral from the river bank. The thing on the right is a tree.

Ahhh, a glorious bright and beautiful Spring has well and truly sprung all across this part of the World this year, hasn't it? ;o>It definitely makes up for all of the freezing cold, heavy Rain and Snowfall of last year.
it's a load of shight, gordon!it's ok really, just adding a bit of balance. not being hobophobic! boom!
I see the season has changed again. It doesn’t look much like Gordon’s new pictures here unfortunately. Dull and rainy.
It's reasonably dry here, just an odd light Shower every few hours, but it is very warm and very heavily overcast so it's been really dull and looks rather dark outside today. In fact it feels quite oppressive and ominous and so I've opted to mainly stay inside and put all of the Lamps on around the House instead ;o>
Those pictures were taken in Brighton on Thursday evening. Despite the sunshine, it was very windy and not particularly warm.
Staying quite dry here but it is still depressingly dark outside. So, that's Brighton? - I've always rather fancied going there ;o>
It's in the mid-twenties here, starting to get a bit cloudy and there is a strengthening breeze. Doors and windows open and fans on in several rooms trying to cool things down - this house really holds the heat!

They sat you in a deckchair with your feet in a bucket of pebbles and then sprinkled water over you from a watering can.
I've had a role for the past three years that has required me to go to brighton 3-4 times a year, usually in the middle of the summer. It has nearly always been windy and has often been cold. And walking on that pebbly beach is surprisingly difficult. That said, Brighton & Hove is a wonderfully lively & interesting city and I've really enjoyed my visits. It's one of those places (like Shrewsbury or Chester) where you don't just see all the usual chains dominating the streets of shops & restaurants. Just before I went to the beach to take those pictures I had a meeting in Hove, which is nicely bohemian without being excessively hipsterish. In fact, my meeting was in offices above a beautiful independent theatre, and I'd killed half an hour on arriving early having coffee in a nice artisan place with very reasonable prices.

You've heard the football managers imploring their players "not to leave anything on the pitch" - so my advice to you is not to leave anything on the table, in the sweet tin or bottle during the festive season!
