Oh gosh ... I think it must have been 10 years ago ... with my nieces and nephew

Not at all. But there are times when I wish I could paint.

You CAN paint and you ARE artistic if you want to be!

Between 8 and 10 years ago.

I can hardly draw stick people, although someone told me anyone can be an artist if they have a teacher.

I would like to travel more but both hubby and I are homebodies and talk ourselves out of it.

Drawing stick people is not the measure of an artist anyway. And your 'someone' is right! A good teacher can definitely do that. I have experienced this myself by teaching a whole grade of third graders (about 60) how to draw a portrait. Every last one of them learned this and more in less than an hour.

I'm basically a homebody also. I have so many fun things to do in the house. Also, I'm a fussy traveler. But my husband is very accommodating so I enjoy it a lot more because of him. I don't know that I wish we traveled more, but we will continue to. He's much more adventurous than I am and has a lot more places he wants to explore, climb and ski.

October 26, Thursday: Would you rather lose all of your old memories or never be able to make new ones?

I do, but I don't. Traveling is fun, but I always miss home.

That is a tough question but I don't think I would want to lose the memories I have and the future is uncertain. So I will keep the memories I have.

I won't be dressing up. Got my son's costume though! He is going to be a tiger, or as he said "Hobbes". He has been very obsessed with his deceased brother, Calvin, lately. So he told me he wanted to be the Hobbes to his Calvin <3.

This past summer with my daughter.

For about two years between having my child and having my hip replacement caused by the pregnancy. Not fun but my daughter was worth it.

Back in high school when I had my knee surgeries.

No. The teachers I work with said they just wear Halloween themed shirts and I'm not planning on going anywhere else. I told my granddaughter to just have something on her head as it is only going to be in the lower 30's tomorrow night so she will have a winter coat on. No one will see her costume and they aren't wearing costumes to school.

Besides childbirth? That would probably be after I had my third baby I had really bad hemorrhoids that ended up having surgery.

October 31, Tuesday: What kind of candy do you hand out on Halloween?

In the past few years I handed out only the kind of candy *I* like to eat - mostly chocolate mini bars. But this year, I decided not to hand out any candy at all. We closed up the house and stayed upstairs.

Our village is semi-rural, with no sidewalks and no street lights, so Trick-or-treating is done on the Sunday afternoon closest to Halloween (Or on Saturday afternoon if Oct 31 happens to fall on a Saturday). It's much safer for the kids (and any drivers) that way. We also have a "fright night" celebration, with a parade, and games, etc that happens after dark at the local school.

We don't hand out candy. We live on a dead end street with only 3 houses and no one ever comes up it. We usually take our kids to another neighborhood or downtown.

We also live outside the city limits so don't get trick or treaters. We keep some on hand just in case. Our grandchildren stopped and we went trick or treating with them so we had candy for them. It was a mixed bag of three different kinds.
