Harry Bosch series wrong numbering

How the titles are displayed is a technical setup of goodreads.com and us librarian cannot change that. One must add the series into the title else they will not reference the series. You would need to reach out to goodreads.com directly and make a global website change request.

Furthermore, a book can belong to multiple series as @Jonetta and @Emily pointed out already. The first series showing in the title is usually the main one that the book directly belongs to. The others following have a broader scope, here: Harry Bosch Universe. Another example are the Ender books by Orson Scott Card. For example, Ender's Game (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...) belongs to 3 series on Goodreads. The first one Ender's Saga is the directly related series, the other two are there for specific purposes like all books in the Ender Universe in publication order or in chronological order. This setup exists to give a richer experience to those readers that are reading all related books which are in the same "Universe".

The problem is though that I went by the official book order on the Michael Connelly website and it does not match the book order on Goodreads. All I am trying to do is get the books in the correct order. Plus, on the official website, there is nothing listed as Harry Bosch Universe. That is a made up construct by someone on Goodreads. It doesn't exist. That's why I am ask for the books to be fixed so they match the list on the official website.

Series information on Goodreads can differ from what is on author websites or bookseller websites. Remember “series” can include the “universe” even if that is not the title of a series in the traditional sense. If you would like Goodreads to consider a policy change, you would need to contact them.
