Chapter 3 - (view spoiler)[Okay so we have some crazy names so far. Merit, Sagan, Honor and Utah. I started listening to this on audiobook and I thought the narrator was just pronouncing Anna weird until I looked at the ebook hahaha.

Bit awkward to be kissing your twin sister's boyfriend. Yikes. I couldn't even imagine the embarrassment. You just know that's coming out somewhere in the book.

What is up with their living arrangement? Why would the mom wanna still live there with her ex-husband and his new wife? It's weird... (hide spoiler)]

What's the deal with Honor and Sagan then if he's not her boyfriend? I'm confused by that comment.. I know this book is setting up a romance between Merit and Sagan, but there's too many complications and I kinda want her to find someone else. Plus Sagan is creepy af. Drawing pictures of his maybe-girlfriend sitting in a grave, and then drawing a picture of her and her twin sister stabbing each other in the back? Kid's got issues, methinks.

I hate that Merit wrote the letter to sort of wake everyone up that she was sick of keeping everyone's secrets and nothing has changed. This family is the worst. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I can't believe how disfunctional Merits family is! I feel sorry for Merit because she really doesn't have anyone to talk to! Utah and Honor are like bestie and the fact that they just looked at her instead of inviting her would really hurt my feelings! I do think i'll like Luck! He's the only one without issues! But i do want to know why he and Victoria fell out!
Now onto Sagan, what is with him! Why has he MOVED IN! And what's with all the drawings! Especially the ones with the twins stabbing eachother in the back. I think Merits is because she kissed her sisters boyfriend but i don't know what Honors is for? Maybe Sagan knows something big that she doesn't!

ALSO, I can't believe nobody noticed that Merit didn't go to school and didn't talk for 4 DAYS! That's horrendous! She literally has no one to confide in! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ HOLY SHIT! What the hell!!!! I knew Utah and Merit weren't close but holy shit! And i thought i liked Luck but the way he treated Merit is a definite NO! And the fact the he wrote DNF about her was horrible!
I'm still trying to piece together what the picture Sagan drew about Ho or and Merit is supposed to mean! What does he know that she doesn't! And the fact that Sagan and Honor are only friends is huge!!! But like Merit said why did he kiss her when they first met and what did he mean by You Bury Me! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I'm liking everyone again now! I loved how Luck got everyone in to prove the depression didn't make Merit any different to anyone else and how he got everyone in to support her! I also loved how Sagan explained to Merit about how people have different stress levels and that her emotions weren't any less valid!

The thing that killed me was when Honor explained to Merit about Kirk saying - "So when the support group people get to heaven they can find Kirk and tell him that she loves him very much!!!!" ARghhhhh my heart couldn't take it!!! (hide spoiler)]

It's funny that he is related to Victoria, lucks sister. I did try that whole humming with the nose closed, not able to lol. I don't know how to feel about the whole church and dog issue. I think therapy is actually helpful... if anything it allows you a safe place to express how you really feel without having to fight...
