Great. Glad to help. One carried announced a massive scientific discovery. Another is a religious symbology professor at Harvard and is good at coding.

Book: Doomsday Book by Connie Willis
number of pages: 593
date read: 10/16/17
task: MC medical, or wattage.

The MC is NOT a doctor or nurse, but spends the majority of the book caring for victims of the black plague as in, the entire village she is living in comes down with it. Brewing medicinals, lancing boils, diagnosing, etc. She's a time-traveler that had to study all of this before traveling. I think it fits, what say you all?

message 125: by Kat (new)

Kat I’m traveling this weekend and have already decided on books that don’t really fit the new categories. However, a couple I previously read could fit somewhere else if any others can be moved from wattage.

Odd Thomas currently in Legs/Feet on cover could fit in Over 400 pages
Julie of the Wolves currently in MC has black hair could fit in set during winter
Our hearts were young and gay currently in two people on cover could fit in blue cover
Breakfast with Buddha currently in wattage could fit in set in the United States
The book I’m currently reading for red cover could fit in book read within 24 hours (I have about an hour left on it)

I can probably read another with a red cover before the end of the month and a couple more wattage books.

message 126: by Susan A (last edited Oct 19, 2017 05:22PM) (new)

Susan A | 2091 comments Keep the red cover as red cover. It is no problem for me to do 24hrs. I read mostly short books and most of them take less than 24 hrs. I have no red covers though.

I can move things around once we see what everyone has.

We need only the vampire for our current tasks. News tasks listed in post 123.

I can move things around, but I didn't move anything yet pending on the group's decision.

message 132: by Bee (new)

Bee (abirbee) | 130 comments I'm in for continuing. I got the vampire next and we'll be done with Frank, The bride is already done. I checked the sheat, so we're pretty good.

Tallyho | 35 comments SINCE WE ARE FINISHED....

I was looking up Young Frankenstein (the movie) for fun...we could do:

* a book with a black and white cover (filmed in black and white)
* a book originally published in 1974 (filmed in 1974)
* a book with page count ending in 54 (they filmed for 54 days)
* a book that is based off another author's mythos (this is Dr. Frankenstein's grandson's story) FRON-KEN-STEEN!!!

LOL

Congrats everyone! Good hustle!
