I'm halfway through this short read, and it is amazing. Truly, genuinely unique. It's difficult to write a recommendation, as I don't want to give anything away at all (definitely avoid reading reviews), but I will say this: if you like black humor, hardboiled detectives, bizarre cults, snappy dialogue, great plot twists, and all around good storytelling, then pick this up. You'll be doing yourself a favor.
