D.C. | 198 comments I have a permanently free short story that was written for the M/M groups Love's Landscapes event. It is free here, it is free on Scribd. I would like it to be free on Amazon. Usually if enough people point out that it's free elsewhere, they'll oblige.

Can anyone with a little extra time go to Amazon and let them know?

This is the url for Scribd

And for the M/M download http://www.mmromancegroup.com

Thanks!

Charles Garard (goodreadscomcharles_garard) | 142 comments You can send them a Contact Us note, found on KDP sites. I just used that very recently. I don't find Amazon to be Byzantine; I find Horror Aficionados to be Byzantine.

D.C. | 198 comments Let me try that, because this is taking longer than I'd like, and is frustrating.

That seems like an awfully straightforward approach for what always strikes me as a somewhat Machiavellian organization, but I'll give it a whirl.

D.C. | 198 comments They may be Byzantine, but I have no experience of Horror Aficionados.

Brooks Kohler You ever tried the Internet Archive? Archive.org

I used Scribd.com, but found it clunky. I switched to the Archive.org because it was very reliable. It's a bit old school, no flash, etc., but I'm getting more readership.

You can hyperlink to it.

A plus is that you don't have to be a member to download. It's public and free.

How are you using the internet archive? I'm not seeing the connection or practicality of using it to promote books.

I license some of my stories under CreativeCommons and link to my site where I offer a free download page. I've found that fans of my writing like the simplicity of the IA, and I also feel like I'm contributing to history.

That's cool. I didn't know you could put anything there. I thought it was just an archive of webpages. I've only used it for finding a website that isn't online anymore. I'll have to check out the other features. Thanks.
