Happy Reading!

Kelly Lynn (lemonpink418) | 189 comments Was anyone else disappointed in Until We Touch? I liked parts, but overall I was disappointed.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Yes, I was very disappointed.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) I thought it was only me.

Kelly Lynn (lemonpink418) | 189 comments I enjoyed Larissa in the earlier books. Her quirky causes made her fun to read, but she came across about as mature as a high-school girl in this story.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) I also didn't really like Jack in this book. I liked him in the other two books, but when I read this one, I felt like he was a totally different character.

My favorite book for this year by Susan is When We Met.

Kelly Lynn (lemonpink418) | 189 comments Jack was a disappointment too. (view spoiler)

I enjoyed Sam and Dellina in Before We Kiss, I think that was my favorite of this set, though I am really looking forward to Kenny's story. I wish it were full length and not a novella though.

Daniela (destudio) | 15 comments At first, reading all the comments, I was like "Jack was ok". but reading Kelly Lynn's spoiler comment I remembered the ending and realized, Yeah! Its' true!

I don't know if I would say "disappointing". I think he was just not a character that stood out to me. He, like so many other SM book characters, is just not doing it for me! Sam was also just...there. Angel was better ,imho, because he was a little more alpha when taking Taryn out on dates. But I felt like SM kicked it up a notch with Angel but not enough. I felt like I was hanging a little.

I really think its becoming more about the town as a whole and somewhere SM is losing the really meaty, juicy story. But I still read cuz it's my crack!

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) I think she should take a break from the FG world, and then come back maybe like a year or two later.

I will be sad, but I think that would be like the best thing for her to do.

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Is there someone that really like this book? Did you give it five stars? What did you think about all of the characters? Why did you really like the book?

Daniela (destudio) | 15 comments I hope our disappointment will not deter someone to come forward if they really liked it.
I would like to know too!

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) I hope not. This is just our honest opinion. Don't get us wrong, we still love SM! :-)

@Daniela...lol

Lynne Evans | 2 comments It wasn't my favorite either, however I did guess what Jack's future was before it was revealed. I'm really looking forward to Bailey and Kenny's book. I've loved Chloe since she was introduced in the first book of this year's FG series.

Kelly Lynn (lemonpink418) | 189 comments I'd love to hear from someone who really enjoyed the book. Sometimes hearing things from someone elses point of view helps me see things I've missed. This isn't stopping me from reading more from SM or Fool's Gold, this just wasn't my particular favorite, but I'm sure there were other people who weren't impressed with my favorites in the series.

@Kelly lynn - During the 1st 2 books I liked Jack. When I read his story with Larissa, I wanted to beat him for not having a spine with Larissa. As I read the book I began to understand why he did what he did with Larissa. He lost his brother, thinking he didn't have the means to help him to get better. Now that he has that. He uses that power to help Larissa, do something that he couldn't do with his brother.
