Yay! I'm excited for this one, I need to look at the cover of the first book, hoping there is some kind of weapon on it, or something I can use to kill somebody, I'm in an interesting challenge this month ;-)

I started the first book in the witches of the Midwest series last night so far so good, but I needed a book from a series with more than 10 books, hoping I can get all my other challenges to work with the series that we are reading together in this group :-)
Because quite honestly there’s no chance that my team could possibly win this month, looks as though we will be battling it out with third, LOL

Ya it looks like your team and my team are battling for 3rd, while Alaina’s team and Andrea’s team are battling for 1st and 2nd.

Any series will do? Because I just finished the 3rd book of the Women’s Murder Club Series by James Patterson and there are like 17 books in that series. I am looking into some of his other series as well. I want to try and read the Temperance Brennan series by Kathy Reichs and I believe there are around 17 books in that one as well.

Sharon, I’m trying to stay in the paranormal for this month, and I’ve read quite a few of the women’s murder club series, I may be on the seventh book? And the bones series, I’m not sure where I am with that, I haven’t read one of hers in quite a while :-)

Hey Sharon I’m finally getting to the first book in the series!
Have you read the on Dublin Street series yet? I need to read the first book for a different challenge but I was thinking that could be a series we could read next month? Is there anything else you want to read I’m trying to think of series that have quite a few booksYay!

I’m in love with this book! However is Ivy English? For some reason the narrator has her voice in an American accent but all the other characters in an English accent and it takes place in England??? I appreciate the fact that she is American and not trying to do the entire book with an accent, however I’m wondering why they didn’t get an English narrator? Don’t get me wrong she’s a great narrator I just I’m curious :-) and then I think did I miss something? Did they tell us somewhere she’s from America and came to England? LOL

I know the books are awesome. I love Ivy. She is really snarky and I love those types of heroines that most. I hope you continue to enjoy the first book. I will post more comments soon. Sorry, I have not been that active on our other threads, I forgot I had a midterm on Wednesday so I have been studying for it.

I am so in love with this series! What a little hidden gem! Chapter 18(view spoiler)[I love everything about this it is so well paced and the magic is almost completely believable, nothing is over the top, and the relationship between Ivy and winter is spectacular (hide spoiler)]
