(view spoiler)[This one really took me on an adventure! I loved the worldbuilding, the Whimsy, the courts - all the descriptions were so atmospheric if I really concentrate I can see all the colours of the autumn court :D

Isobel was a great protagonist, very level-headed for a 17 year old, and was all in all a joy.
Rook was by no means perfect - and that made him a great character! And how he literally cut off one of his fingers for Isobel? And then later we find out he can't get it back? I mean damn!

Also I found it very interesting that while Isobel had feelings for Rook, it was Rook who first fell in love and you could really feel that he indeed loved her and oh my gaaaaaawd my poor heaaaaart

The only thing that bothered me was that the question of immortal/mortal was never properly addressed in the end of the book. Isobel would be the queen of all the courts and all that, but she'd still be mortal and would die in a few decades, and that wasn't really even mentioned. Could it be that Isobel was trying to block those thoughts and we, reading from her perspective, didn't get to see her think about it as well?

I just started listening to the audiobook. I'm a little worried I won't love the book as much as I would have if I had a copy to read but that's okay. So far I'm liking it :).

So I'm not sure where I'm at. My audiobook didn't stop when I wanted it to so I need to figure it out. However, I don't really like the book so far. The story, characters and insta-love are just not my taste to be honest. It really has potential but I'm disappointed.

While I like my favorite love interest getting together quickly, it isn't realistic and is seen in a lot of YA novels...but it just creates tension in some cases, which I like seeing. The insta love didn't bother me and I actually enjoyed reading it more than I would have if the romance took a little while to develop. A lot of suspense, drama, and things I didn't expect to happen. I started reading this without knowing a single thng abt it..so it was confusing a bit..
Isobel is portrait artist very skilled..she lives with,aunt emma and twins may and march ..may and march are enchanted tht they survive almat evrythng
Autumn prince visits her to have portrait of himself..frst she was startled tht she cannot fully portray him as smethng like soul was missng in the portrait..rook visited her almat everyday and she made changes..they kind of feel attracted to eachothr..as they knw it is nt allowed love btwn a human and fair.
He enchabts her with ravens for knwing danger . Rook is pissd by seeing the portrait as it depicts the sorrow hidden in him..tht scratchs his reputation..inorder to correct it rook asks her to cme with her.

Its quite slow..but i like all the chracters..
Rook and isobel survives wild beast..they are attacked by barrow lord..it attacks rook badly tht he gets fever..he reveals tht she doent need to cme with him after he is hwaled she can go back to whimsyy..
They are in love but refuses to acknowledge coz isobel doesnt want to drink frm green well which means giving up her craft..
They then leads to springpalance..there she meets lark and aster..
Gladfly knws smethng is fishy between them..
