First chapter (view spoiler)[ I want to know what kind of sorcery allows Gale's bread to still be warm. Katniss claims that he must have been there at the crack of dawn to trade his squirrel for it. Then there is the walk from the town through the Seam and into the woods which I would assume would take at least 20 minutes or more. Plus the fact that he was waiting for Katniss and it is clearly no longer the crack of dawn. Seems like a dubious claim that the bread would still be warm when Katniss breaks into it. I know, not really a big concern at all (and doesn't take away from my enjoyment) but I have read this so many time and this was the first time this passage stood out to me as being likely impossible. The training grounds are interesting, I like the different skill things they have set up. Katniss getting pissed about the Gamemakers not paying attention to her and shooting the apple is such a great scene.

Katniss is doing well so far, spending so much time in the woods at home is definitely helping her out. The tracker jackers are brutal and it was such a great idea to cut the branch down and drop them on the Careers.

Ch 21-End (view spoiler)[ It's clear why Katniss never gets to know the plan. She's so impulsive and always thinks the worst of everyone and every situation.

Rue dying and what Katniss does for her is so sad. She really saw a lot of her sister in Rue so it was terrible for her to have to do that.

It's nice that her and Peeta are together again. Peeta is funnier than I remember him being despite being on Death's door.

They made it, they won. But Katniss's little trick with the berries is going to kick off a bigger problem then she could ever imagine.

Peeta is so heartbroken after finding out all of Katniss's feelings aren't real. She definitely feels something for him but not like he does her. I felt so bad for him when he found out.
