Changing default edition for a book

I know this feature is exclusive to Authors, but come on guys, we know some of these authors are not bothering with their material on the website, look at this example:

What a mess, there's everything in there from english to german to japanese, so my question is, is there any way around this? in order to fix this problem, and keep these series on all the same edition?

No, there's not. Only an author or Goodreads staff is able to set a default edition. This is not something any librarian has the capabilities to do, no matter how much sense it makes to you.

The default edition is the most shelved/reviewed, unless set differently by the author. The feedback group would be a more appropriate place for this post- https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/....
