Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
question
summer reading

This book is the prime example of a book your grandma gives you for Christmas that you think you will never read. But then one day you pull it out for a summer reading project and surprisingly it doesn't make you want to die the art of motorcycle maintenance follow's a boy and his father on their cross country motorcycle roadtrip and along the way the father teaches his son about some important principles of life and narrating along the way in this strange new way most people have never read and that is what caught my attention and actually kept me reading this book. The father talk's about the importance of stopping to look around in life because if you go through life to fast you might miss the small and important things. Overall I would give this book a quality 7/10 rating simply for the reason that the ending for this book is awful but what can you expect from a philosophy book and a guy like me. But in the end that doesn't this book is still pretty solid and if you're looking for a book that may have the small chance of changing your life I would give this one a try.
