I just found out that as of January 1st, my library is no longer subscribing to Hoopla for audiobooks and have switched to something called RBdigital?

Has anyone had any experience with that one?

We still have Hoopla and Overdrive in Brandon. Did they say why they changed? I hope it is an improvement in access to books for you. Our Hoopla e-books content is not typically great but does have range of audio books

I sent in a complaint to the Winnipeg Library, and they said that they tendered the contract for audiobooks and RBdigital won the tender. They still have Hoopla for movies and music.

I have been browsing through Rb digital, and have not found one Canadian Authored book yet.

In the states our library is using Overdrive and their selection is OK for the most part. I use it all the time I just need to remember to enter the books into Goodreads when i'm done. I listen to audio books on my way to work and when i'm working out. Sometimes, if it's a good book, i'll sit in my driveway and listen for a little bit longer. I also use Hoopla and the two together give me a lot to choose from.
