I found this book 2 years ago and never read it, this is just from the back cover that I can remember.
A Girl age 16-17 is cursed with the power that if any man sees her, he will do any thing for her. After she is in a city and a man dies from trying to give her a umbrella (I think he was hit by a car but I'm not sure) she goes on a quest to break the curse. It's 14 and up. And also romance and fiction.
