I think this is an important book because the author has much to teach about taking charge--and responsibility--for one's own life, especially when diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and becoming a collaborator and director of treatment rather than being the receiver and docile accepter of a patient. Sabbage has as much to teach about living your life as in managing an illness. It was an inspirational read, and perhaps a lifeboat to anyone diagnosed with cancer.
