I like John Green books but I haven’t been able to just sit down and read this book. I get so distracted by other books. Or by packing. Or anything really. I just need to sit down and push through it. That and the son of Neptune. Thank god I have a bunch of audios on my phone too.

Yeah thank gosh! I'm thinking I might have to actually change the amount of books I can read in Nov/Dec challenge because I might have to slow down a little with uni and work, and I want to enjoy my books not race through. I've definitely slowed down now :(

Starting #2 in a little bit. Going to go have a shower and do some chores while I listen to my audio. At least this one won't take long.

Of course, totally not surprising. You actually sound surprised? I actually wasn't as invested in this one as the first one, I suppose because I found it a little less actiony and more background-related, but still good.

I just don't know why he didn't do it sooner, before Caryn tired herself out. I like how Caryn always stood by her, for reasons I'm still not sure on. Just to figure out she was Jazlyn's daughter? haha I was sort of surprised. But I also sort of saw it coming too. I have no idea if that makes sense.

I do love that name too. Yeah, I didn't expect it to end like that either. I kind of want to know what they are doing now. Or what Risika is doing. Maybe they will be mentioned again later on in the series?

Yeah I love how it was a few years after #1, so it still kind of continued. I wanted to read #3 straight after, but I also wanted to get into my next book XD

It's so hard when you have so many books that you want to read at the same time. Today, I had to get in a room with only one book just so I could finally finish it.

Yikes. I got a ton of audios done yesterday because of all the packing I had to do. I still have a bunch left to pack but I really wanted to get through my physical books today.

Good luck! I feel like I've read so many books today I'm too tired to read anything now. I have a job interview in the morning and tomorrow I have my final walk-through of my condo. So, I think I'm going to take a break from reading tonight.

Btw my review: I didn’t find this one as good as the first one, but it had the same amount of wow factor. I didn’t realise that each story followed a different character, but in the same world.
In terms of this book, I loved the idea that (view spoiler)[the first book was actually a book that Jessica wrote, (hide spoiler)] but I think I’d have liked it more if (view spoiler)[the story was actually all in Jessica’s head, rather than her turning out to be the daughter of Jazlyn, who was sired by Siete. (hide spoiler)] It adds a cool element, but I just wish it wasn’t there. There were some pretty good fight scenes in this one though. I just don’t like Jessica as a character. Too arrogant and haughty.
Definitely excited to see what the 3rd book will throw at me.
