Mason Lugg English III Due 9/17/17 Part I: The book I read was Code Talker, by Joseph Bruchac. There is only one main character and I do not know what his real name was, but he had a nickname and that was ¨Kii Yázhí¨ (Little Boy). He was sent off to boarding school by his parents, his uncle took him there, I'm not sure about every day, but I know it was on the first day he took him there. He was to learn about codes there. He was later sent off to high school where he was to continue learning about codes. He, later on, was dragged out of his dorm by his teacher, because America had a nationwide broadcast saying that Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. He decided right then and there that he would go into the Marine Corps Military Branch and fight for his country. Later on in the book he and a bunch of Navajo people signed up for the Military and decided to fight for his country, for freedom and honor. Later on in the book, he finds out that war has ended. They were dancing for joy because the war had ended. (SPOILERS) (this is the spoilers for the ending of this book) Kii Yázhí and other Navajo's could go home to see their families again after a long war. Part II: This book is a good book, the reason why I wanted to read this book was that I love war books, the last war book that I read was Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. Part III: I feel like that the two perfect words to this book are Freedom and Honor because people are fighting for their freedom, and fighting for the honor of their families, strangers, and from the presidents.
