Cindy C Bennett (cindycbennett) | 1 comments Do you mean to interview and author or to be interviewed as an author?

If you mean to interview an author, most authors are happy to provide you an interview, and I'd say the most likely way to get them to respond is by email for a printed interview. You just send them questions after they've agreed and they send you their responses.

Honestly, I just reach out to the author I'm interested in interviewing. They're usually very happy to do it! Go for it!

Makenzie (makenziereadsalot) | 41 comments How can I get their email address?

Usually I go to their goodreads page and message them or use the contact email on their website. Good luck! :)

Lisarenee | 19 comments Go to their websites or blog. There's usually a contact button and they'll tell you how to get in touch with the author. A word of caution...if they list a go between person like a publicist, you may never hear back, but its worth a shot. Also, if you don't hear back from them, ask them again in a few months. Sometimes they're caught up in the middle of a deadline for the next book release and can't answer they're emails so persistence can pay off. Just make sure you don't do it too frequently or you'll come off as a creepy stalker and no one wants that.

Makenzie (makenziereadsalot) | 41 comments Do you think people like James Patterson, Marissa Meyers, or J.K. Rowling is too much of a shot?

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Probably, but nothing beats a failure but a try. I mean they may never answer, and they might. You'll never know if you don't try. But, that's just my thinking.

I tried to find contact information for JK once, but it's really hard to find. Marissa Meyers I think would be easier, Patterson you'd have to look for. Remember if you can find contact information be persistent, but not overly so.

Makenzie (makenziereadsalot) | 41 comments I sent Marissa Meyers a Goodreads message

James Loftus I am up for interviews to promote my debut novel.

Here are the Trailer and Reviews on Amazon:

And when night falls and witches meet, darkness into men's hearts does evil creep.

The wind howls incessantly in the darkest of night and in the blackest shadows lurk the demons. Beware all, who venture into the realm of, Celtic Blood …

Alyxandria Ang (alyxandriaang) | 149 comments I go to their website and contact them with their personal email. It usually takes around a few weeks, or months at time, for them to respond but it's no biggie. I've so far contacted Erin Fry, Tera Lynn Childs, and Rysa Walker. I hope this advice helped.

I feel like contacting the author with their personal email can create more of an intimate author, as if you were sitting down and interviewing the author in person. :D

Wren (wrenlee) I just email the person. Some reply. (Marissa Meyer replied for me.) It's a lot of waiting but it's so worth it!
