Romance Novels Publishing Okay. I have been trying to find a book that I read about 10 years ago. I don't remember the title or author, but maybe you guys can help me.
It's about a man who is reluctant to marry. His first love was found dead in a garden. Somehow he marries his friend's daughter. He starts to fall in love with her.
It turns out that his new wife was a witness to the murder of his first love as a child. I believe it was her cousin. She has since repressed those memories, but over the plot line she starts to remember.
I also remember her father passing away in this story.
Can you please help me? I have been looking for months. I do remember it being an Avon Romance, or maybe my brain is tricking me again. Thanks!
