I finished my second October book just in time. It took me nearly two weeks to read A Lie for a Lie . A good book, good mystery and very well written, but for me a very slow read.

I only got one of my two done this month. that's what happens when you have one of those "read for five minutes then fall asleep" days 31 days in a row....... I'll get caught up in november. Congrats to all who finished!

I finished my second book in the nick of time: . I liked it much better than book 3, but still wish they would back off a little on the ridiculous romantic triangle. The mystery, however, was interesting!

I finally finished my second book yesterday, A Biscuit, A Casket by Liz Mugavero. I am enjoying this series and looking forward to continuing it!

Too late but I've already read the two books in the series: Vangie Vale & the Murdered Macaron and Vangie Vale and the Corpseless Custard.

Original as the MC is a woman, part-time pastor and part-time baker. I've really enjoyed the writing and I already got the 3rd one in my TBR.
