Helen (helennn) | 1020 comments Ive finished my second book in the challenge. Carrot Cake Murder (Hannah Swensen, #10) by Joanne Fluke
Probably closer to 3 1/2 stars than 4, as the love triangle is starting to become tedious.

Those books are so much fun.

message 107: by Anna Catharina (new)

Anna Catharina I finished my second October book just in time. It took me nearly two weeks to read A Lie for a Lie A Lie for a Lie (Ministry is Murder Mystery, #4) by Emilie Richards . A good book, good mystery and very well written, but for me a very slow read.

Jennifer (jhaltenburger) | 648 comments I only got one of my two done this month. that's what happens when you have one of those "read for five minutes then fall asleep" days 31 days in a row....... I'll get caught up in november. Congrats to all who finished!

Meg (makeli2) | 1534 comments Congrats to all finishers!

message 110: by Barbara (new)

Barbara Sousa | 504 comments I finished my second book in the nick of time: Lemon Meringue Pie Murder (Hannah Swensen, #4) by Joanne Fluke . I liked it much better than book 3, but still wish they would back off a little on the ridiculous romantic triangle. The mystery, however, was interesting!

Kristie (kristiesbooknook) | 49 comments I finally finished my second book yesterday, A Biscuit, A Casket by Liz Mugavero. I am enjoying this series and looking forward to continuing it!

message 112: by Marisa (new)

Marisa (moretta) | 421 comments Too late but I've already read the two books in the series: Vangie Vale & the Murdered Macaron and Vangie Vale and the Corpseless Custard.

Original as the MC is a woman, part-time pastor and part-time baker. I've really enjoyed the writing and I already got the 3rd one in my TBR.
