I just checked Amazon and Book 2 and 3 are available there. The titles are enrolled in Kindle Unlimited though, which means the author signed an indentured servitude exclusivity clause, which means the electronic versions probably won't be available any place else. :-P
I'm think going to make a new rule going forward that all nominations have to be available on -ALL- digital platforms, not just Amazon or I'll disqualify them. I'm a Nook/Kobo girl ... and THIS is a global community.

I'll consider it and maybe run it by the other mods. At this point (for August) I didn't announce it far enough in advance to get other group reads. I don't think Mr. Leather made his business decisions based on what a mid-sized Goodreads group does, though.

Admin note: discussion thread went off-topic a bit about Kindle Unlimited. Have deleted my own lengthy thoughts on this topic so as not to clutter up discussion of the Nightengale books. People are welcome to continue the discussion in another thread or PM me. Thanks!

We devote time to upkeep these threads because we love books and the people who read them. While many of us have outside connections (and therefore insider knowledge) of the book industry and sometimes share that information, we are all readers here.

"“You're going to hell, Jack Nightingale.” These are the words that ended Jack Nightingale's career as a police negotiator. Nightingale quickly learns his soul was sold at birth and a devil will come to claim it on his thirty-third birthday, which is just three short weeks away..."
