The two families don't know about each other, in one of the families the man has two kids: daughter and son.

He travels frequently, and one of his assignments has to do with a single man who has the worlds most beautiful daughter.

The hardcover is white, the male depicted in a black outline of sorts with a woman's hands draping his neck, you see his back and her hands and her ring finger with a gold metallic ring on it.

I read it last year on vacation, but I don't think it came out in 2016. It was fiction, not sure if it was a male or female author.

I'm pretty sure the setting of the novel was somewhere in Asia (broad I know :( ).
