Wein worked for both Marvel and DC in his time (as well as freelance work for several smaller publishers.)

Well this news sucks. Len is only a few years older than I am. I had a copy of those Hulk issues and the original run of Swamp Thing, although Swampie's first appearance was in House of Secrets.
He did great work on Batman.
