Although Smith College is an all-women's college, men are present throughout. How do you think the all-women's nature of the college benefited the girls? Held them back? Did it make much difference at all?

Many years ago I visited Vassar which has been converted from a Women's to a Co-Ed College. Had an opportunity to visit with a few students that had seen and been thru the conversion. They loved the Women's College, and the change over was quite a challenge for them, but it was wonderful to see how they were able to make it work.
