The goal of this challenge is to read as many books with covers that match a color on the color wheel as you can during a period of one week. For those of you who aren't familiar with a color wheel, I suggest you familiarize yourselves with it:
During the week, you will try to read one book to satisfy each of the color requirements listed on the wheel above. The cover has to be predominantly the color you are trying to represent. If you read two books with predominantly blue covers, only one of those books will count toward your total.
If you are interested in participating in the challenge, please post a comment below before Sunday. Then, either during the course of the week or at the very end of the week, edit your initial post to include the titles of all of the applicable books that you have read for the challenge. Please, please, please edit your post, instead of creating a new one. This tends to throw off our numbers and makes scoring a bit difficult. Additionally, remember to edit your post before Sunday, July 19th to give the mods enough time to calculate the scores and announce the winner. If you do not enter the titles, your score will be counted as a 0 and will negatively impact the average number of books read by members.
The moderators will be confirming that all books mentioned fit the requirements of the challenge, so don't try to tell us that
We realize that this is a fairly new concept to many of our members, so we encourage you to ask as many questions as possible, before, during, and after the challenge so we can work out any kinks that may exist and clarify any uncertainties.
So, without further ado, let the sign-ups begin!
