How do you feel about Allegiant being split into 2 movies?

I'm not too sure. I feel like it won't be too great though
I think that (with all movies split in two) Allegiant pt 1 will be mostly setting up the story, so we don't get to see much action, and Allegiant pt 2 will be all action so we'll probably have forgotten everything about the first film. That makes me sad because I honestly believe it could have been done as 1 film. When I first found out, I didn't really mind, but now I'm a bit worried about what they could do with it.
Annoyed, can't it just be one?! I hate how it'll drag it all out, already with Mockingjay I can feel the loss of interest because it's being dragged out. It needs to happen with a bang, not a whimper.
I know...why do they have to do it? It's not like it's going to be too long, because allegiant wasn't a very long book...
I think that it's better 2 movies than 1
I don't know why they can't just make the 2 films at the same time, and release them about a month apart instead of a year. 2 films, more money, happier fans!

Think its unneeded; Allegiant was way too draggy... But splitting the last book into 2 movies is kind of a trend lately. So, maybe they just wanted to follow it *shrugs*
yeah I hate how they keep doing that to drag everything out. It annoys me.
I like it because then they won't leave anything.
2 movies kinda happen with every last one in book series. Look at Twilight and The Hunger Games.

I'm fine with it. I don't plan on seeing part two at all, I probably even wont see part one.
I feel like with Mocking jay, there wont be much of anything in part 1, that part 2 will have all the action of taking down the capital and getting Peeta etc. And i feel like splitting divergent is going to have a similar kind of effect but i also think that Allegaint will be a lot more eventful in its part 1.
I think that it's good because the movie won't be too rush and vague. I want to see everything from the book in the movie and they can't do that in one movie. I'm really excited for it:)
in my opinion, its okay i guess (: like the book was a lot of dull content in the beginning but a lot of action at the end, so it would be kinda defeating the purpose of a coherent 'story' in 2 movies but...if the producers think its gonna be too long if put into 1 movie, i understand
I personally feel like Insurgent should've been in two parts instead of Allegiant. Insurgent has so much action and different parts of the plot that I feel like you could easily make it into two films. In my opinion Allegiant could be easily fit into one movie.
I'm not sure where they are going to split it. I wish they wouldn't though, like seriously just make it a longer movie.
I think they should have done it in insurgent instead.
honestly if they can make the hobbit (a 300 page book where not that much happens) into 3 movies, they can make allegiant into two. I feel like two movies was unnecessary but I think it will work.

feeling very exited and pumped or it but why do they have to always put the last book in a movie in 2 parts!?
It makes me really frustrated cuz there's really no reason to put it into 2 movies cuz it could easily be one movie but they split it into two to make more money which make me really angry
I think that it is frustrating because we will now have to wait even longer to watch it....but also I think it is a good thing because at least it will have more detail in the movie and there is now no excuse for the film to be different from the book
I think they just wanna make us wait as long as they can until we get hit with the tragic reality of the ending

Honestly i realized they do that with most famous franchises. They did that with Harry Potter,and Twilight they are doing that with The Hunger Games,and now Divergent. So i guess i kind of expected it,ya know? But my biggest problem is:What part of the story will they be ending the first part of Allegiant on?
Yeaassss! I don't want it to end right before a really big part in the book and I'm actually scared of this happening...

YESSS who wouldn't. Nut the only thing it won't be good unless it's like 6 hours to get everything in. I was already disappointed with the first movie.
I was expecting it, they do this will all movies. It's a bigger profit to them.
I wished for a better movie, because Divergent movie was really bad, so let's hope for the best...

AHEM. As a major fan of the series and has someone who has analyzed the books countless times TOBIAS NEVER GOES OUT WITH CHRISTINA. It never mentions it and it never even implies it. Please don't spew out thoughts like that because of what other people said.
Okay, divergent might not of been spot on, but for a book to movie adaptation, it was pretty damn good. Compared to movies like Percy Jackson, and City Of Bones, it was very close to the book. It had the majority of the scenes but they don't have four hours for the movie. Theo james and shailene woodley are amazing actors/actresses and just because critics bitch that it's just another hunger games, doesn't mean it is. And in allegiant: Tobias never goes out with Christina. I doubt Tobias would ever get over tris that quickly and go out with her best friend! There's a difference between friendship and romance. The book says at the end that they can mend each other, as in "friendship".

Alright so its obvious in the movie that they left out stuff and changed small things, but the base of the movie was indeed accurate. Not to mention almost about 60 percent of the dialogue from the book was in the movie if not more. Also casting choices. Besides Shailene Woodley being an AMAZING actress she captured the essence of Tris. Most people were upset because Shailene didn't look like tris. They said she was too pretty? EVERY HOLLYWOOD ACTRESS HAS TO AT LEAST HAVE SOME LEVEL OF ATTRACTIVNESS TO BE MAKE IT IN THE BUISNESS. And theo james- if you didn't think he was the PERFECT four you can leave. I was honestly VERY happy with this adaptation because it could've been done much worse like Percy Jackson or City of Bones or Beautiful Creatures.

My question is where are they going to split it? There is no good spot. If any book should be in two parts it is Divergent. It had the most action and the movie seemed rushed.
Part 1 would be so... so... boring...!
