One reader mutliple ratings?

I wasn't sure where to ask this, but I saw a low rating on one of my books and decided I wanted to see the profile of the person. When I checked the profile, there were multiple different ratings on the same book. A single book would have 3 different ratings... sometimes a 1 and the next one might be a 3 or 4. The profile joined in April and has only one friend. Are they just new or is there an issue with "fake" profiles. I don't plan to do anything about it. But I was curious how one person can give a book three different ratings.

I imagine that they are leaving a review at each edition of the book.
