I'm in for this one. Hopefully my copy will arrive from the library in time, but I've been meaning to read this for ages.
I just placed a hold for this at my library. I want to try to read it with you all. Hopefully I'll get a turn with it in time! :-)
I just found out that I'm #25 in line for only five copies in my library system. So I might not get to read it with you, after all. :-(
Does anyone own the Kindle edition? Is it lendable? I was disappointed to find that I can't get it through Kindle Unlimited. :'(
I just finished it! But I will come back and chat with you all if you'd like. It was good. Sorry Jen, my version is Nook, and it's not lendable.

Thanks for checking. It's probable that it's not lendable for Kindle either then. Darn it all anyway. :-( Oh well, I'll read it when I get it from the library and will stop back in to comment as appropriate/needed. :-)

I was able to check out the audiobook edition yesterday, though. Seeing as it's 30+ hours on CDs, and I'm currently trying to listen to another longish one on Audible (trying and failing; been listening since early October and only just made it 30% in)...
Well, I just don't think I'll be able to participate with you all. :-(
But I'll come back when I get the print book! (This will probably be sometime in 2016, lol.)
I am liking it so far but I am wanting more of an explanation of what is going on so hopefully Chapter 3 will hold some answers. And I am also realizing why this book is so long (800+ pages). I am really wanting to get to the JFK assassination but I think it is going to be a while.
I got started and got up to page 46. It does become clear, Victoria, and in not too many pages either.I just love Stephen King's style of writing - it is so natural and immediately you feel drawn in to the character and the story. It gets to me every time I read one of his books.
I'm on Chapter 17 now... about 50% through. I'm reading and writing from my phone at the moment, so can't read the hidden spoilers, nor hide any of my own. I'll check back.
