Corey (coreyhuffman) Since summer has officially begun (though in Florida it has felt like summer for the last two months) I am sure we are all pulling out our reading lists to tackle some of those books that we have been "wanting" to read.

The beach is calling (sorry for those of you not close enough to an ocean or other body of water with a beach) and the books are coming out. So tell us, what are you reading this summer? What are you wanting to read this summer?

Corey (coreyhuffman) I too need to finish the The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao and I am on A Clash of Kings. I am also beta reading a friends book that I am going through right now as the top of my list.

My to read pile is pretty numerous, I want to read:
American Gods
The Lowland
Allegiant (I still haven't read it)

I really need to catch up with my annual challenge, I'm currently 9 books behind, unfortunately a lot of stuff made my life busy since February, and I am just now finally able to pick up some leisurely reading.

I'm well ahead of my usual reading pace and well ahead of my goal of a book a week. But my "to-read" stack keeps getting higher.

Here's the top of my list:
Kidding Ourselves: The Hidden Power of Self-Deception
I Am Legend
The Race Underground: Boston, New York, and the Incredible Rivalry That Built America's First Subway

I try to alternate between fiction and non-fiction.

Corey (coreyhuffman) I really need to add more non-fiction to my list, that is one thing I liked about the old format, because I'm not much a non-fiction reader unless someone points out a book to me and tells me how great it is.

I have considered adding I am Legend to my list, I'm still a little on the fence about it, which means I just need to do it.

Julie Hendrix | 29 comments for class: Prosser Torts. ugh. however, i try to look on the bright side as torts is usually fairly entertaining as a subject.

for pleasure:
want to read Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt
and Bananas!: How The United Fruit Company Shaped the World

Corey (coreyhuffman) Haha, I know I'm in the minority, but torts was actually my least favorite class. I found trying to decide who owns the meteorite much more interesting than whether or not Ms. Palsgraf was in the zone of danger.

Though I will concede that torts brought some interesting story lines, and made for a great essay prompts.
