I want to preface this review by saying I am an avid watcher of the show and I think there is no way I could read this book as quickly as I have without already knowing the characters. There are so many and the book is very detailed, sometimes too much so. But the writing is very good and so is the story. I highly recommend reading this,especially if you like fantasy. And I also recommend use of the appendix of characters in the back.
