Nadia A (bagambo) Hi Elizabeth from Alaska - I absolutely loved Guernsey! Let me know what you think about it when you finish it. Oh, I had no idea that there was a movie of 84, Charing Cross. Cool.

Stephanie (skhani) A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian by Marina Lewycka made me laugh so hard. I have to admit, the characters were depressing, but the situation they were in and Lewycka's description of each person all made for a hilarious read on the bus/tube. It really put me in a good mood.

That's great to know about this book Stephanie, because I mooched it and am looking forward to reading it this summer. Cool!

Karen (kkdmsn) Renee: I love your thought> Just getting the opportunity to read divine. Whether the book is great literature or just light weight, I enjoy the reading. I also love just being in a library looking at all the possibilities! So many books, so little time!

Rachelle I totally agree Renee and Karen...all books equal happiness!

Maria Perhaps, for recent years only, I'd choose GG Marquez's 100 Years of Solitude. When I finished the last page, I took several deep breaths, told my husband to bring me lots of food, including a big bag of potato chips, and started again at page 1 and read it right through AGAIN. I've never done that before (and don't really expect to again, but who knows?).
