"Magical Creatures, A Weiser Books Collection
A digital library of forgotten and fantastic stories of the occult."

Any ideas on Varla Ventura's role? Should they even be listed on these works because as a series editor I would remove them usually (some exceptions but almost always).

And this article gives the book titles she has authored: Varla Ventura is the author of Banshees, Werewolves, Vampires and Other Creatures of the Night, Among the Mermaids, The Book of the Bizarre, and Beyond Bizarre.
This information is supported by her website as well.

Adding to the non-authored works crediting VV "Varla Ventura is the series editor only on this work and should not be added to the book record". Clear enough?
Series editor, however, implies a "proper series", so (temporarily?) creating a series to keep these together. Will also do a Listopia though so if we decide to get it gone, it's no extra work...
Hmm, I'm also now rethinking VV - the work cover for Unicornicopia implies that there is an introduction by Clint Marsh, and it is edited (not series edited) by VV. The blurb from WorldCat implies that the work is actually a collection of works by various authors, naming 3. I'm going to change it back to VV as editor and as primary, Marsh as Introduction, and the three I know as Contributors. Damn, looks like more needs to be done with them all in that case :(
Magical Creatures, a Weiser Books Collection is an imprint and series. It's not clear whether Magical Creatures is a series for Goodreads purposes.

If you can add note indicating the origin of the extracts, that would be helpful to other librarians later.
We also need to be clear on what Varla Ventura's role was in these works - he appears to be a series editor, but I'm looking for more information.
