Len Robertson | 78 comments Boeing, NASA and the private corporation in Redmond Wa said its works in the laboratory. They say they will have a working model to put into space by 2020. They had no reason to lie or exaggerate since no one even knew about the project outside those involved. It just so happens that SpaceX's Falcon Heavy can do the job if it goes up in sections.

Lots are happening along the Silicon Coast stretching from San Diego to Vancouver and as far East as Denver. Not every thing they try will work but that doesn't stop them from trying. It's the 21st Century, after all.

Al "Tank" (alkalar) | 280 comments I wasn't doubting you. I used to work for Boeing. Sorry to hear that NASA is involved; they have a tendency to do things the hard way. The SpaceX people are my heros; if anyone can get private space exploration and exploitation going, it's those guys.

One of the things about Boeing is that they often run 2 - 3 large projects side-by-side, all doing the same thing. Then they pick the one that works the best. Don't know if that's the case here. If this is a "Black Hole" project, most of it will be secret and we'll only see the tip of the iceberg.

Al "Tank" (alkalar) | 280 comments I'll have to apologize to the rest of the folks on this thread. It's about editing and, in our enthusiasm, we got sidetracked.

Peter Last (petermlast) | 22 comments Editing is one of the critical aspects of a book. It can have the best story/character development/etc but i lose respect for it when there are editing errors. Sorry, that's just the way I am. The bottom line: don't skimp on editing.
