what's the best way to write a synopsis for a story with many threads (in my case the story has 4 threads) I feel like I'm having a hard time keeping the synopsis shorter than 2 pages having to devote words to each thread. Is it ok to stick primarily to the "main" thread or will it look bad to agents to leave out details regarding more minor threads Thanks for any help!
I suggest sticking with the main thread and just mention the minor ones. Much like a blurb, you want to emphasize what's unique about your story, why you chose to invest the time to write it. The stuff that's derivative or common to many/most of the stories in the same genre can be safely left out.
