Updates not showing up

I have made changes to my author profile and book which is not showing up in search results. It still shows old info. How much time does it take for updates to show up.

It can take up to 48 hours before the changes are visible everywhere.

Would author bio and change of primary edition of book also take that long to be visible to everyone? Google shows the old page whereas when I sent the link to what I changed into my book's primary edition, my bio is updated one. I went back to google and it still shows old page again with old primary edition of book.

Since Google has nothing to do with Goodreads, I don't know how long it takes for pages to be updated in searches there. Longer than on Goodreads, in any case.
