Well spotted, Jasmine - it was our read in April 2015. (The thread is still open.)If anyone has any more nominations to make, now is a good time, as I'll probably be closing them and starting the poll sometime tomorrow.
I will nominate Elizabeth's London: Everyday Life in Elizabethan London by Liza Picard. And with that I close nominations. The poll will be open soon.
The poll is on the front page of the group, at the top of the Polls section, or here: https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/1... .
@Susanna: I do not think I am going to b able to join the discussion of
right off the bat. It looks like all the copies available at my local libraries are checked out at the moment. I am still going to try to join at some point if the thread is still accessible in about a year or so.
My library has the book but with two holds so, I too will join if I am able to read the book before the thread closes.
Unless something absolutely extraordinary happens, the winner of the poll will be The Last Tudor. The threads remain open indefinitely.
The winner, by a landslide, was indeed The Last Tudor. Our discussion of it will be here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... .

If it's in a series, can it be easily read as a stand-alone? If not, you might want to nominate the first book in the series, or the most recent book in it the group has not read together.
Can't remember what we've already read as a group? (Sometimes I can't, either.) There's a "group-reads" shelf on the group's Bookshelf.
Two nominations to a person, please.
