ISBN number is for wrong edition

The problem is that when I enter the ISBN 0575064846 from my copy of Pyramids that I am holding in my hand, I get a Spanish language edition with a different cover which is very certainly not the one I am holding. My edition is a hardback first published in 1989 by Victor Gollancz. My copy says that my edition was first published in Great Britain by Victor Gallancz in 1997.

Please note that the ISBN in the picture above is not the same as the ISBN I entered.

I have fixed the language field which was obviously wrong since in Spanish the title would no be identical (Pirámides).

In regards to the edition in your hand, without seeing an example of the cover we cannot check if the edition is in the system or needs to be added.

Please review the other editions here and advise if yours is not among them or provide an example of your cover so that we can check that for you.

Mine is not among them. [It looks most like the edition in Greek, except that of course it isn't.]

If you enter the ISBN on Amazon.co.uk, you will see the cover I have. [That's where I got it, actually.]

Links to pages displaying the cover are really appreciated as well as all additional details. Since information on other websites is often wrong we would prefer you provide as much of that as possible. You can follow this template when requesting a new edition.


Please confirm the following for me from the book in your hand (not from Amazon).

* Number of pages (not including preview to other books and adverts)
* Date of publishing of the edition in your hand (not copyright year)
* If it is "Collectors Edition"

An edition has been created here that might be yours. Please compare the cover with the edition in your hand to make sure it is identical (often there are small differences). Please advise us of the differences.
