Nikki-pops (nikkicolene) | 68 comments I remember quite a bit about the plot, but no names. Here goes: the heroine is shipwrecked in an island, and somehow finds a cat for company. She thinks the island is deserted, but later finds it is owned by a pirate, and has an entire village he created. After living together and falling in love she finds out that he is also the son of a noble man back in England. The Hero is , I think by a fellow pirate who wants the island for himself, and is thought dead, but escaped through an underwater cave. The heroine escapes somehow, and returns to England, where she notifies the hero's father of his death. Then I think someone tries to/kills the hero's father. I don't remember how, but the heroine ends up reuniting with the hero. Please tell me someone can recognise this book. I joined this site just so I could make this post.

Annamariah | 292 comments I haven't read that particular book, but you should check out this list. Maybe you'll find your book there, especially if you remember what the cover of the book looks like.

I've tried this list and I don't see it, but I'm going over it a second time.

Angela | 625 comments The Pirate's Lady (Zebra Lovegram) by Kay McMahon The Pirate's Lady by Kay McMahon? One of the reviewer's says: "Heroine, Jennifer Grey, is a typical beautiful blond young woman on her way to England to marry her fiancé.
The ship gets destroyed in a storm and she ends up as the sole survivor on what appears to be a deserted island in the Atlantic. she gets along ok by herself for about a week, managing to arrange shelter and get food etc.

Unfortunately for her, it appears that in fact it is inhabited by a large bunch of pirates who have built a town and use this as their home base."
