"Thank you, kind sir," Jonesy laughed and moved inside. She had never been to such a restaurant before. Why? The name. She hated burgers, but she was sure that there were other things here besides burgers.
((You've never been to Whataburger?))
There was long enough line to have a conversation before ordering.

((I didn't even know it existed, to be honest))
As usual, Jonesy tried to pick a weird/random topic to speak about. "If you could be a character in a book, what character from what book would you be?"

"Artemis Fowl, but I can't just pick one of those books since it's about his growth from being a selfish criminal to a hero who is prepared to sacrifice everything for a good cause." Thomas said, letting out a bit of nerd oil.
((As the husband, you can take your wife there...but don't. I hate burgers))
Jonesy arched her brows. "Oh, Thomas. Your suspenders are showing. You might want to cove them up." Nerd joke. "I've never read them, honestly. What made you choose that character? Does he remind you of yourself? Not the criminal part, of course. I know you're a great person." She laughed lightly, knowing nothing of Thomas's past.

((I eat the chicken sandwich anyway. Beef and pork are thing I'm probably gonna start saving for certain meal for special occasions. It's hard to do so now in a family where no beef and pork means no food. And I'm also not going to ever dull my senses with illegal drugs, alcohol, and weed, but I've never done those before.))
"Because sometimes I wish I was more detail-oriented and observant than I am now. What about you?"

((Please stay that way.
Hahahaahahahahahahahaha...I HATE EVERYTHING. I posted. I thought it was a pretty great post. It took me forever to type on this stupid small, glitching screen, and you know what? There was a problem with postingmy comment! So, I'll reply to this later when I figure out what I said.))

((That sucks. When I think I've been on a webpage too long especially big posts, I try to remember to copy it before I post))
Jonesy's own question thrown back at her. She should have thought that it would. Hmm. "Um," she tapped her chin, but she instantly knew who she would choose. She just didn't know how he'd respond. "I would be Gemma Lucas from The Fallen Star..." She looked around the restaurant. "At the beginning of the book before she meets Alex, I mean, because she was emotionless. She could not experience or feel emotions at all. That just seems nice to me."
"Emotions suck," Jonesy answered and focused her attention on one boy in the restaurant. He looked about her age, maybe older than she was. She wasn't attracted to him or anything. She just set her attention on him to keep from focusing on Thomas.
((Hehehehehe))
Jonesy waved it away. "If you could choose between becoming rich or becoming the most powerful person in the world, what would you choose and why?"

((Meanie. Unless you thought that was a dirty joke. Which it was not))
"I wish neither was an option" Thomas said. "A lot is assumed to be true just because you live on the top of the hill. And being on the top of the hill means that you are rich enough and smart enough to have been able to get that powerful. So let me say it like I'm in AP Statistics: There is a strong correlation between a person or family's net worth and their ranking in the hierarchy."

((Nope. I'm just mean :P))
"You make my brain hurt," Jonesy laughed softly. "My gosh, Thomas. Couldn't you have just said 'rich so I can buy all the chocolate in the world'?" She looked back over at him and grinned. "You ask a question now."

"That wasn't what I meant," Jonesy shook her head. "If there is a chicken product, I will accept it."
"That sounds yummy," Jonesy said with a smile but wasn't looking at Thomas. She was looking at the cashier guy. Still, she wasn't attracted to him. She was stuck on her friend's appearance, but maybe she could get over him by looking at the cashier or that other guy or...Yeah, there was no use.
Thomas saw her staying and got a little jealous. He paid and moved her away from the guy quickly.
Jonesy arched her brows at Thomas questioningly but said nothing of the matter. "Where should we sit?"
Jonesy nodded and moved into the booth while looking around the restaurant.
"Mmm-hmm," Jonesy nodded and looked down at their table. "What do you want to do after this?"
"Heh, I love video games and such. The arcade sounds great," Jonesy answered.
"Let's see if I still have the video game prowess I used to have." They ate their food and went to the Arcade.
