Maybe I should try this book again... tried reading it about two years ago and couldn't get into it... it felt very slow to me

I decided to go for Me Before You! I don't know what magic you used but the prize arrived the same day I got it from the library and two of my lectures were cancelled! Thanks to that, I was able to read it in almost one go.

You gave it 5 stars, but I currently rate it with 4 stars, although I'm pretty sure I'll be reconsidering it as soon as I get over the ending. I really liked it - it was exactly the kind of book I needed in between all the schoolwork! Thank you for recommending it!!

I was finally able to complete The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy! I also gave it 5 stars because this book was funny and Douglas Adams is definitely witty! I'm very glad to have finally read this book after all of the recommendations I had gotten for it! I was definitely not disappointed:)

hi Kiran,
I started reading yesterday and i am loving the book so far. It has a lot of parallels to "Harry Potter". I am definitly in the mood for a middle-grade (?) book. kind uplifting and fun.
Have you started with Mitch Albom?

Adulthood Is a Myth
It was a short comic book and I enjoyed it with many a laugh. Some of the content related more to a younger woman in her 20's/30's, (i'm in my 50's)... but I still found it funny and worth the read.

Jennifer's rating: 5
My rating: 4

Jennifer I know that your choice Sapiens is a lengthy read, hopefully you're finding enough time to get through it and enjoying the insights and perspective.

Ditika | 6 comments This month I was paired with Saionee and from her shelf I read Never Let Me Go which I'd been meaning to read since forever.
Her rating was 3 stars whilst mine has turned out to be 4.
When I began reading I never thought it'd leave such a lasting impression on me and a couple of times I almost stopped reading and rummaged in her shelf for something else to read but I'm glad that I held on to it till the end.

Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind
I found this book very interesting. Especially the sections/chapters about religions and ideologies humans have had and still have to this day.

We both rated this book 4 stars.

I'm so glad you found it interesting too! It was a lot to absorb, but gives one a much broader perspective on humanity to see it presented over a long timeline like that!
