When she met Mace, he seemed just like her, but when she married him, his true life and personality was shown. But Victoria still loved him and never left him. She was against the games, but when Mace ordered his daughters' enrollment in training, despite her best efforts there was nothing she could do to prevent it. When she was 53, Victoria went to a party with Mace, even though she didn't want to. She tried to flee but her drunk husband forced her back. Then she lashed out by punching him. Mace retaliated by punching and kicking in return. The alcohol ruined the best of him and he ended up murdering his own wife unintentionally.

When his wife gave birth to two daughters, he immediately saw them as victors of the Hunger Games, which would grant him more weath. So Mace forced his daughters into training.

Short history: Sapphire was a tribute herself who volunteered when she was 16. She won the games by killing off her allies in their sleep and then taking out the rest. She began training because it had been her life-long dream to win the games and become forever rich and famous-like her father, she was obsessed with getting everything she wanted.
History:
Lustre was brought up learning to copy her father and sister; loving money, fame, winning, and herself. Her mother-after failing to turn Sapphire into a kind girl-tried desperately to turn Lustre. But Lustre hated that, and would rather spend time earning money, watching herself in the mirror, and breaking rules. She also learned to become violent, due to her father's abuse.
When her mother died at 46 when Lustre was only 10, her true affection for her mother was shown and she was heart-broken, for inside she loved her mother. A lot. Since then she hated her father, and resolved to violence and hostility. The kind side of her was buried deep inside of her, but could still come out.
When Lustre was 11, her father forced her into training. Lustre hated the games like her mother and desperatelt tried to be spared, but her father won over her, and she was enrolled. The training taught her to become more dangerous and hostile. Her arrogance and vanity returned. She loved to use weapons, especially bows and knives.

Spens is the cocky, wild, and annoying type. Spens doesn't know when to shut up, literally. Spens does however use these traits to make people angry and sometimes annoy others. Spens grew up in a very musical family. Spens was named after a victor of the hunger games, making the family think that one day Spens would go to the Hunger Games and make the family popular in the music industry. Being from the Luxury District, Music wasn't a very good business to go into. Well, unless you were like the Clackmannan family. Then maybe there'd be some hope.
Spens started singing at around 7 years old, taking lessons taught by his mother. Spens liked music, but he had a different obsession... The Hunger Games. Spens secretly trained with the District's already training people, being seen as an outcast in the group. But Spens proved himself after showing skill with the twin sabers. He also became very well known in the Tactical field, learning and thinking out things before he did something. This made him a better fighter than most. And unpredictable.
By the time Spens was 14, he was unusually popular, well known.. and loud. Taking off in a different direction in the Clackmannan family, Spens started to learn the art of heavy rock. But that came to a hault at 17 when his family started throwing different genres of music.
Spens volunteered as tribute for The Hunger Games.

Calypso's sister, Adele, is 10 as I told you before. Adele help out around the house every so often and usually makes breakfast meals so her mom and dad can make it to work on time.

Grimm is a very quiet guy, who prefers to keep to himself. He is very clever and brilliant. He knows a lot about how the Arenas are made, which will hopefully benefit him in the future. Grimm likes to be alone but is very welcoming, if not shy. He is very empathetic and kind. Grimm sometimes zones out, but it's only because he's thinking very fast and very quickly. He sometimes has trouble replying to questions because he doesn't want to confuse others and he doesn't want to "go out on a tangent".

Grimm has a relatively normal history for somebody who grew up in District 3. He was always very curious and naturally good with technological stuff. When he was fourteen, he said something in school about a problem with the technology in class, and later, when school was out, was beaten up-badly. The other boys thought he was being a show-off and "needed a lesson". During the fight, which wasn't much of a fight-it was five against one-Grimm got a cut on his collar bone, and could have died. Thankfully, he was okay and it healed, though he became much more quiet and reserved after that fight. When it was Grimm's second to last year to be reaped, he was chosen, along with another girl from his District.
