I don't really feel like I'm doing good either. I haven't finished anything quite yet because of school, but I am hoping to get some reading done when I can make the time.

message 52: by Lee (new)

Lee | 1452 comments You can do it, Amy! If it helps, I've only finished one because it was an audiobook.

message 53: by Lesa (new)

Lesa Divine | 1513 comments Yay done with a book now on to another one lol...

Audiobooks can come in handy Amy mainly if you is very busy with school. Check out Overdrive for library audiobooks. It comes in handy while I am cleaning the house or driving. I connect my phone to my truck radio an listen while I am driving. I really like it when I am out and about shopping. Go to Walmart all the time put one earpiece in my ear and shop and listen to a book. I drain out all the noise around me.

Thanks for the advice, I think I'll have a look at audio books.

I'm going to hold you to your word, Amy! ;)

Sorry I've been an absentee lately, so much going on. But I've been reading -- just can't find the time to write reviews...

I finished Like Vanessa by Tami Charles -- and wow! Heart-wrenching, moving, and inspirational all at once. Who'd have ever thought I'd get involved in the story about a beauty pageant contestant? But this book has so much to offer. I can highly recommend you all read it when it comes out in March of 2018.

I also finished Maddie & Sayara by Sanjyot P. Dunung , Darcy Moon and the Aroona Frogs by Catherine Carvell , Curious McCarthy's Power of Observation by Tory Christie , and Emily and the Spellstone by Michael Rubens -- all fun reads, especially Emily and the Spellstone.

Lesa Divine | 1513 comments I took a two day reading break. Had to get in some house cleaning. Plus since my oldest is homeschooling I find myself reading more word problems then my own books lol. But got plenty of books I'll like to read this Fall. Reading two books now and got two holds at the library. I would had added more books to our team but 3 books I DNF and don't know if they count or not if I haven't finished them.

No worries, Lesa -- you are our reading champion! :)

message 74: by Lee (new)

Lee | 1452 comments Lesa, I believe that they will count. You just need to count the pages you did read and review what you read.

message 75: by T.J. (new)

T.J. Burns | 2698 comments Nice reading, Team!!!

...and for those of you who offered to read my book, I'll be getting back to you soon. ;)
