Didn't know that!! Can I read books in August and count them for this challenge? That's the only thing I'm worried about

I'll double check, but I think you can as long as you tell them how much you read in August and how much you read in september.
Points:*50 - 100 pages = 0.5 points
*101 - 199 pages = 1 point
*200 - 299 pages = 2 points
*300 - 399 pages = 3 points
and so on... (maximum of 6 points per book)
*Poetry/Graphic novels/illustrated books = 1/3 of above points, so a 300 page book is worth 1 point.
*Buddy reads DOUBLE your points score, so a 300 page book + buddy read = 6 points. (Bonus points for buddy reads will only be given if the buddy read has taken place in our group.)
*Re-reads are okay as long as it has been at least 1 year since you last read the book.
Rules:
* This challenge will run from September 1st to September 30th, with results announced on October 1st.
*Books started before September can be used, but you must only claim the number of pages read in September.
*Buddy reads must still have a minimum of 4 comments to count.
*4 detailed updates can be used instead of a review.
* You can find our regular challenge rules here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Based off this yes you can
Here's a review Maddison did earlier this month so you can see how to post them.
Block: Severus Snape!
Description: 394+ pages
Pages: 789 https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... (but 74% read this month, so 584 pages read)
Review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Perfect, percent wise is probably the easiest so that way you can find the highest page count and take your percentage from that. Hope that made sense. :P
That's just for the Harry Potter challenge, we won't have that for the "Read Whatever You Want" Challenge. All you need is the book title/cover, the pages (w/ a link), your review (w/ a link), and a buddy read link if you did one.
It gets to be pretty routine after the first couple ones. Mega Month Challenge is crazy because there's like 3 competitions going on in one month, but it's also crazy fun.
So first you'll need to find an existing thread if there is one which you can do by using the box near the top of the page. It says something like search discussion posts. Once you find that link copy it and then post it on the "September Buddy Reads" thread along with the date and an image of the book.Sept thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
So go to the group's home page and then find the category like YA: Realistic Fiction or Adult fiction. Click on that folder and at the top there should be a plus sign or create a new topic. Then you fill out the topic with the book name and when you are starting the buddy read. I like to put the book in where it says this topic is about. And for the first post I like to copy and paste the book summary in that. You can bold it with < b> and b>. No spaces between that and the first one goes at the beginning and the slash at the end.
You already have it planned with two people so if they don't show up you'll still get the points as long as you write your comments on it. Make sure you put it on the September planning thread so the mods know.
Go to the thread I copied in my message above in message 69. And then post the book cover and the date you're starting so the 4th along with the thread link you made earlier.
Cori there is already a thread for A dog's purpose and it's set for the 5th of September.https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Hey Cori, before you make new threads make sure you search for other ones using the "search discussion posts" box on the desktop version of goodreads. A lot of books already have at least one thread.
Hi, everyone! I finally finished that job that had me super busy. I'll check what you guys are reading and the buddy reads and come back to tell you my tbr since I don't really have anything else other than The Lord of the Rings :D
