I kinda feel like Hades didn't steal the Lightning bolt tough and it's not in the underworld, but who knows? Annabeth kinda reminds me of Hermione Granger except with a shit parent. I'm wondering about the prophecy and the "friend who betrays you" and I don't think Grover or Annabeth would ever so I'm excited to see what happens. (hide spoiler)]

Instead, I'm seeing the "unrealistic-ness" of everything happening. I mean, they're 12 year old kids travelling around America. And all by themselves. Same here, the nostalgia is a big factor but I also think PJO is a great and action packed series. I still enjoy these.

@Natalie Oh! I get the idea :) I've never had a chance to read those books when I was a kid since it wasn't so popular in my culture (I used to live in Russia when I was a kid and I'm native half-Russian half-Asian though my native language is Russian).
I'm glad I'm reading those now, the story is so interesting! And all the mythology... It's just so nostalgic as I was obsessed with all the Roman and Greek ancient when I was a teen.

Just finished this and thought this book was funny in places as well and I love the whole demigod stuff and all the Greek mythology who's a really good book and I've rated it 4 stars
