Ch 1-3(view spoiler)[ Percy doesn't know anything that is happening. It's surprising how everyone just forgot about the teacher except for Grover. The mom knows a lot about what's happening and I'm sure she's been planning for this to happen for a while now. I can't wait to read more. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 4-10 (view spoiler)[ Percy finds out he's the son of Poseidon, that's exciting!! The prophecy makes me wonder who will betray him and I wonder who the spy is on the inside. I feel it may be Clarisse, but she may just be a cruel person. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 11-15 (view spoiler)[ So much action and it was only the first couple days into the quest. The way the kindly ones attacked makes it seem like Hades doesn't have the lightning bolt. I'm not sure who would have it, but Hades it offering a trade. The lighting bolt for Percy's mother. Ares seemed to have a side mission for them, but it was more of a set up. How is Percy going to approach him after this incident with the thrill of love ride? (hide spoiler)]

Ch 16-17 (view spoiler)[ Percy's mom is being kept to control Percy, I can see that working against the quest. So Grover was the one who tried and help Thalia cross the border. I'm not sure why, but I have a bad feeling about Luke. He was the only other one who went to Olympius around the same time the lightning bolt was stolen. How did they stay in that kids casino for 5 days?? That's crazy, now they have to complete the quest in a day. (hide spoiler)]

Well, so far I like how different the book is from the movie. Percy is such a stubborn character and I love it! Luckily he had the sense to get the heck out of that casino before it was too late. I'm ready for the underworld!

Ch 18-20 (view spoiler)[ Percy has now made it to the Underworld and he realizes he has been set up by Ares. I was nervous when they began fighting and when Percy ended up wounding him, I was a little surprised. I wonder what the curse that Ares put on him is and who the other hero is that gave Ares the bolt to begin with. I still have a feeling Luke plays a part in this. (hide spoiler)]

I'm sure it's just me, but why would they learn about Greek Gods in Latin class?
I had latin and I learned about Roman gods, and roman myths.
I learned about Greek Gods and Greek gods in my old greek class, which makes sense.
But what do greek myths even have to do with latin?

Also, omg his name is Perseus xD

also it took me too long to recognise Dionysos. I only figured it out when he made himself wine.

Ch 21-end (view spoiler)[ I KNEW Luke was behind it! This book was better than I thought! It made me happy knowing that Annabeth was going back to her family for the school year and Percy's mom finally left Gabe. That was long overdue, she deserved way better than that guy. I found that Percy's decision to go back home was good and I wonder how Grover's quest is going. I hope we get to see him in the next book because I was enjoying his company. (hide spoiler)]
